LogiMAT 2024: Cargoclix presents new solution for efficient workflow management

(Freiburg i.Br., 16 January 2024) From time slot management and transport tendering to offering solutions for end-to-end digital processes in yard and transport logistics: the software specialist Cargoclix from Freiburg im Breisgau offers its customers modular tools and applications that can be fully adapted to individual requirements. At the Stuttgart intralogistics trade fair LogiMAT (19-21 March 2024), the company will be showcasing another product at its stand (Hall 8, F21): Cargoclix WFM, short for workflow management. The newly developed system for the efficient management of workflows is a tool that can be used to display logistics processes in detail independently of a time slot booking, for example picking, sealing containers or dispatching trucks. WFM can be easily linked to the SLOT time slot management system from Cargoclix, but also works as a stand-alone solution. WFM can be used in a variety of ways and can be customised to meet the individual needs of a logistics location.

Like the other Cargoclix solutions, WFM is web-based, device-neutral and can be implemented easily and quickly by users. “Our approach is clear: Cargoclix offers customers exactly the tools they need to digitally map all processes. With more than 150,000 users, we have one of the largest reach in the industry,” emphasizes Professor Dr Victor Meier, Advisory Partner at Cargoclix. 

Features in the new WFM: Users can digitally document the desired processes, such as load securing, or visualize load carrier management in the new tool. Suppliers can confirm orders and plan deliveries. All data can also be shared with users’ ERP systems and processes can be automated. Sequential processing is possible to ensure that no important work step is forgotten: the next work step can only be carried out in the application once it has been completed. The user is guided through the menu step by step. Documents, for example for mandatory safety procedures, can also be recorded via the system. 

A Classic in Trade Fair Luggage 

In addition to its tried-and-tested SLOT time slot management system, Cargoclix will once again be presenting its SAFE CHECK-IN module at the trade fair, which enables seamless communication between all parties involved in the delivery process and therefore even more efficient organization of truck handling at the ramp. The special feature: both automated and direct messages from the location to the driver and vice versa are immediately and automatically translated into the native language of the driver or location operator. This means that direct contact between the employees of a location and the drivers is no longer necessary. Freight documents can also be exchanged and signed digitally on request. 

Cargoclix will also be presenting its tried-and-tested logistics platform TENDER at LogiMAT 2024, which is one of the leading international tendering platforms for transport and logistics contracts. The cloud-based software, which enables the processing of worldwide tenders for contracts for road, rail, air, sea and inland waterway transport as well as courier express parcel services and logistics services, is characterized above all by its ease of use.
