The Day of the Logistics
Thoughts from Cargoclix on today’s “Logistics Day”, initiated by the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) e. V.: Logistics is always good when you do not notice it. With SLOT, Cargoclix has been ensuring for about two decades that there are no more truck traffic jams or long waiting times in front of ramps, on the company grounds or in front of company buildings.
With more than 65,000 members, SLOT is one of the most widely used time slot management systems. Truck drivers and warehouse workers all enjoy the smooth processes on the ramps. The consumer usually doesn’t notice anything that is going on in the background. But every day he stands in front of full shelves at the bakery or supermarket. There are dozens of members in the supply chain that ensure smooth logistics. One of them is Cargoclix for numerous companies.
